Sport Rider Bike Rack

After carefully reviewing Hollywood racks and other brands, the Hollywood racks stood out to me as far as options and cost.
I am very pleased with how they are made and the durability.
I made a great choice on the Sport rider rack.

Order arrived very quickly in perfect shape. Using an online assembly video, I put everything together without a problem in about 30 mins. Very sturdy and well built.

Hitch and trike adapter works great. We are retired older able to get the bike and the trike on bike easily, it’s now easy to go to different trails and locations with our electric bikes.

Its a big upgrade from my previous rack and it is very high quality. Totally worth the price especially compared to thule

Probably the best bike rack I’ve owned. Easy to assemble and put on my car. Is it heavy, sure it is, but it is built like a tank. My two e bikes weight about 140 together and it they don’t move once locked down. Pricey. Definitely. But well with the investments I have in my bikes. Oh, and great customer service as well.

Sturdy, easy to put together, fits everything from a kids bike to an electric cargo bike. Glad I chose this one.

After an initial bobble, my error, the assembly went well. I was very impressed at the quality of the instructions and the very heavy duty hardware. I did go back and order the rack dolly, In retrospect I should have ordered that along with my order. The Hollywood rack, and especially with the trike adapter is quite heavy, Little touches like the doubler installed on the main beams really show the attention to detail and engineering involved. The rack is designed to accommodate e-bikes, I did not need this level of beefiness for bikes, but when coupled with the trike adapter, there is a lot of mass out on a pretty long lever. Assembly and integration of the trike adapter went well. Smart of Hollywood to make the assembly process happen on the car. Very well done.

I’m a guy who likes to over build things when I fabricate them. These racks may seem pricy but I can say they are extremely well built and easy to assemble out of the box. Now it is fairly heavy for someone who may not be super strong to put in or take off your car/truck. I have no worries about something breaking on it. They did a great job with its ease to tip for the trunk hatch or truck tailgate. I have not used it yet to haul but only assemble and test the bike fit. Super pleased with its design and ruggedness so far. I also bought the trike adapter which again I have no concerns with its durability and over build strength. 5 stars for both and I’d give more if it had more to pick from. Also as a side note I spoke with one of the owners with a question and he was awesome to speak with as email with. Answered all my crazy engineering questions with no hesitation.

As expected. Setup was simple and had no issue. Carries the bikes with no worries. Would recommend this to everyone.

Pretty good rack.

Used for the first time today. It was easy to install and use. There is a learning curve to getting it all set up with the size of the bikes, but it held my two e-bikes perfectly to help us get to the trail.

I should have purchased this rack when I bought our e-bikes last year! I bought a cheap rack and quickly began to hate it… Loading was a pain, the tire strap buckles broke quickly. I found out it was discontinued and I couldn’t get replacement parts. It did not secure tightly to the hitch either making me worry when I went off-road with the bikes on the rack rocking side to side. Some of the places I bike (Everglades in Florida) require miles non paved roads/Trails to get to where to where we get on the bikes. 😊

This Rack is Rock Solid!!! It’s worth the money. When I grab the rack and push up and down… the rear of the F150 goes up and down with it! Zero wobble/movement!

Just purchased a new 101 bike. The bike has 4 1/2 inch tires and this rack works perfect. I totally recommend it. Easy to assemble an easy to install.

Very well engineered and stable

The Sport Rider for Electric Bikes is an excellent bike rack. The build is incredibly solid and very well thought-out. Assembly is very straight forward and loading the bikes on it is a breeze. And, living in Southern California, the package showed up the day after I placed my order. I don't have an e-bike, but some of my vintage cruisers weigh well over 50 lbs. That's why I went for the heavier duty electric bike hitch rack. I am a very happy customer.

Excellent solid rack, fit real nice on my 2020 F150 and works great with my ebikes and hybrid bikes. Very easy to load and unload bikes, sturdy and safe. Best rack choice is my opinion.

Love this rack. Assembly was simple and well laid out. Super sturdy, bikes are secure and don’t move at all. The mechanism to secure the hitch makes it super stable. Was easy to make adjustments for bikes. It is a bit cumbersome to load the first bike weighing 65 pounds as a solo, much easier with two people.

This bike rack is Burly, really the only bike rack rated to carry my wife’s and my Aventon aventure bikes. Simple, durable, easy to install, and works. My order originally had hooks where the key didn’t work so they immediately replaced them within 2 days. The bikes are hard to get in with the through number hitch is a suburban just do to their heft, but my standard SUV with the lower hitch is a complete breeze!

Love this rack! Sturdy, good looking, easy to use. If you can’t lift the bike on your own, definitely get the one with the ramp. Solid construction and mounting.

I took this Bike rack up to Park City Utah this past weekend. (Mountain Drive) I drive a 2022 Ford 2- Door Bronco with 35" Spare Tires. It rode with no issues at all we loved the rack. I did stabilized my 2-ebikes with a tie down strap around the bikes. They did not move they did not jump around at all, even with all the pot holes I hit. I did have someone try to steal it when I Sunday night at the hotel because it was lowered down I had made sure it was in the lock position when I left I that night. The next morning it was all the way down. The bikes were with me in my room, (Ha!) I have the extender with the other lock so they must have thought it would just pull out! (No Good For Them) I am hoping they will add a swing gate to it (Hint Hint) so I can get in the back of my Bronco... Overall I would give it 4/5 Stars until the swing gate comes out, then they will get 5/5! #bam

Easy to assemble , easy to load, stable tight and secure . Couldn’t ask for more.

Solid rack. Install took some time and one section of the directions was unclear to me because the drawing was confusing but anyone can go to utube and easily overcome any of those difficulties. Customer service was outstanding.
