The Destination E for Electric Bikes is our new hitch bike rack designed specifically to carry electric bikes with any sized tire up to 4.5" wide. This new bike rack has a sleek and modern design and can carry up to two 70 lb. electric bikes or standard bikes. It includes an expandable, wide aluminum ramp so you can load and unload your bikes easily. The Destination E hitch-mounted bike rack can fold flat against the car when not in use and features "balanced tilting" where the pivot point is between the bikes for easy trunk access when the bikes are loaded.
Other features include adjustable, keyed-alike locking frame and seat post clamps, ideal for unusual bike geometries as well as our No Wobble-No Tools Hitch Tightening System.

Very easy to assemble and mount to the car. Quiet on the back unfortunately I haven’t had a chance to get my bikes on yet to go for a ride. Overall I think it’s very good quality and it has all of the functions that I could think of.

E-bikes are heavy - too heavy for me to lift onto a rack or even fold up and put into a crate. This rack has made loading and unloading our 2 E Bikes a piece of cake! It locks them in securely with no swaying or wobble. The ramp works great and is so much easier to get our bikes on the rack. No more back strain trying to lift them onto our old rack!

Is the 70lbs weight limit a suggestion or a max weight limit?
Do not exceed the strict 70 lbs per bike max weight limit.
Is the bike ramp included in the box or is it sold separately?
The bike removable and expandable ramp is included in the box with the Destination E.
Can I put this bike rack on my RV?
The only RV the Destination E is suitable for is a class B motorhome.
Do you need a Bike Adapter for step-through bikes on this bike rack?
No, You would not need a bike adapter for the Destination E. It has frame grabbers that allow you to attach the bike from the seat post, eliminating the need for a bike adapter.
Are there longer straps available for this bike rack?
We have extensions for the straps on the Destination E up on our website at Hollywoodracks.com if you are in need of longer straps. They are listed under STPEXT, you would only need 1 kit for both bikes.
Can I use a bike cover?
No! Bike covers add significant drag and stress to the racks components
